Al-Amīr, a tri-lingual, Double Blind peer-reviewed, open access Bi-annual Research Journal of Islamic Studies, is launched by Malik Yar Muhammad (MYM) Research Center, Bahawalpur since January 2020. The Journal is published in accordance with the high standards of Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan.

Al-Amīr is a multi-disciplinary publication dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of scholarly study of Islam and of the Muslim world. Particular attention is paid to contributions dealing with the Qur’an, Haadith and Sirah studies, Shariah, Law and Jurisprudence, History and Civilization, Political and Social thoughts, Philosophy, Kalam, Literature, International relations, environmental and developmental lace Islam and the Islamic tradition as its central focus of academic inquiry and to encourage comprehensive consideration of its many facts. Issues as well ethical questions related to scientific research.
